We are indebted to many for allowing us ‘into their family albums’ and giving permission to scan for our collection.  In particular we owe a great debt to the Hall family who gave the Group free rein to use the photographs taken by Harold Hall in the early 1900s and the material he collected.

Harold lived all his life in the Hamlets of Woodgate and Moor Street.  In his later years he imparted his knowledge of the area to the City of Birmingham Museum, members of the Northfield Society, gave a talk at the then named Bartley Green Comprehensive School and also helped celebrate St. Michael & All Angels 150 year’s opening.
